Im very sorry I have not personally thanked everyone for the faves and wonderful comments.
This hurricane really threw many many people in Houston for one of the wildest rides ever. I think the storm came on a Friday. Our lights went off about 2 ours before....ShaZAM Ike decided to be a d*#k and %uc* up..millions.

I am writing this at a Best Buy where I go each day to recharge my camera, lap cell dvd player for the kids. Yes indeed folks I'm still without electricity. Once a nice old Jewish community now called "The Jungle", we drive home into pitch darkenss. Soo I get out the battery charger thingy and hook my lap top up to it, bug spray in hand and type this...


I shall return to thank each one of you individually.

Long time ago I was given a very nice large letter from a Captain. It had all of my favorite things I so love to read. Wars stories, battles fought, victories won, good kings bad kings..ya know. I just went into a battle not to long ago and thought I had all of my weapons. I forgot one important thing to remember before venturing out to fight...

Do not afflict the Fatherless or the widow. When they cry unto me I will hear them and rescue
and deliver them.

The Captain didn't forget what he said. He keeps his words. All the time.
